Echoes of Dissent

Tasked with applying the core techniques of documentary photography, I turned my lens toward the protests that swept across New York City in May 2025. This photo series captures the pulse of the streets—the chants, the colors, the raw emotion that defines collective resistance. Each image reveals both the tension and solidarity that arise when people gather to demand change. The city itself becomes more than a setting; it’s an active participant in the visual dialogue on democracy, justice, and identity in contemporary America.
